Our practical approach to legal issues draws on the 16 years of experience of our principal, Kim Miller. Ms. Miller has served as both inside and outside counsel to companies of various sizes:
In 2004-2005, Ms. Miller served as Senior Counsel and Director to Huron Consulting Group, a publicly traded financial and operational consulting firm, where she was the primary in-house legal support for the company’s initial public offering. During a period of transition between General Counsels, Ms. Miller was Huron’s sole attorney, handling issues ranging from client contracts to teaming arrangements, during the preparations for the company’s IPO.
From 1999-2003, Ms. Miller was in private practice, operating as the Law Offices of Kimberly Miller, the predecessor firm to Paradigm Legal Group.
From 1993-1999, Ms. Miller served as General Counsel and Telecom Practice Group Leader of BeggsHeidt Enterprise Consulting, a Chicago-based information technology consulting firm.
Her introduction to legal practice was as an associate in the Chicago office of the law firm of Foley and Lardner. Her introduction to serving the business community was as a management consultant for Valuation Counselors Group, Inc.
Ms. Miller is a 1991 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, where she was the Co-Chair of the Julius H. Miner Moot Court Board. She graduated cum laude with departmental honors in political science from Wellesley College.
Licensed to practice law in Illinois, Ms. Miller’s professional affiliations include the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Computer Law Association.
